What you see

Round dark spots on olive leaves ringed with yellow halos - like tiny peacock eyes; heavy leaf drop in spring.

Conditions

Mild wet winters - i.e. every winter here. Worst in dense unpruned canopies.

Treatment

Copper after harvest clears most of it; prune out the worst.

Prevention

Copper post-harvest (Nov-Dec) and at late winter; open the canopy; avoid wetting foliage.
